My Greeting Box Review

I must admit I am becoming a bit of a fan of subscription boxes. Both the boys and I and tried out a few in the past months and it’s been great to get some real post. My latest subscription box arrived the other day and I was pleased to say it didn’t fit through the post box. This parcel was on my door step when I got back from work and I couldn’t wait to see what was inside the June My Greeting box.

My initial thoughts were that this was a jam packed box. I am a bit of a magpie so as soon as my eyes lit on the sparkly gems and sequins I couldn’t wait to get everything out on the table and have a good look though.

Included in the box:

  • Fairy stamp set
  • Splatter pattern background stamp
  • Pink ink pad
  • Glitter spray
  • Rose Gold, Navy blue, ice white card
  • White card and card blanks
  • Envelopes
  • Clear card pockets
  • Double side tape
  • Diamantes and sequins
  • PVA glue

Which is enough to make the month’s three designs and have extra to make doubles or your own designs.

Because it was my first box it also included

  • A Black ink pad
  • An acrylic block
  • Foam tape
  • A ruler, scissors, pencil, rubber and felt tips

Each box also includes the instructions to make the designs. Which were clear and included photos for each step. Handy if you’ve never made cards before. I chose to make the Full of Sparkle card first and this is my progress so far.

Final thoughts for My Greeting Box Review

At £65 pounds for a three month subscription. It’s a bit too pricey for me. However if you love to get parcels in the post or can’t get out as much as you’d like but still want to craft. Then it could be just for you.

The quality of the materials inside were excellent and I loved this months set of designs. I’m sure my friends and family will enjoy getting my super sparkly fairy cards this year.

  1. There’s nothing nicer than getting something handmade is there? It really shows that the gifter has put a lot of thought and time into creating something special & that’s why I’m a fan of homemade goodies. This one would also be a tad pricey for me, but at least you know you are paying for quality materials . Popping over from #SnappedUp

  2. I used to make all my greetings cards, it was lovely to give something personalised and I know the receiver kept my cards. It’s a shame these packs are so expensive, it would be a great way of trying out new crafts. #SnappedUp
