I don’t regularly give my children vitamins as I consider that they eat a varied enough diet to get everything they need. However on occasions, especially as they start back at for the new year. I would like to ensure they get some of the necessary nutrients*.
In the past when I’ve tried, these haven’t always been popular and I don’t want to have to battle with the boys to take them. So when we were sent the new Bassetts Vitamins Omega-3 + Multivitamins Orange Flavour Pastilles, I was keen to see if they’d pass the taste test.
What are they?
Bassetts Vitamins has launched Omega-3 + Multivitamins Orange Flavour pastilles for 3-6 year olds.
They offer all the benefits of a standard multivitamin but added Omega-3 in a delicious orange flavour. What’s more, it’s been made with natural flavours and colours, and no added sugar
Each tasty and chewy vitamin contains Vitamin B6 to support normal psychological function and Vitamin B5 to help maintain and support mental performance to support a smart way to start the day
What the kids thought:
They liked the Orange taste, but the chewy texture was unappealing. They’ve never been big fans of chewy textures so this is probably why.
What the kids thought they tasted like:
The youngest thought the taste would look like an explosion in your mouth.
The eldest had different opinions and thought that all orange flavour must have come from somewhere. So this monster on his Island is the source of all orange flavours!
So did Bassetts Vitamins Omega-3 + Multivitamins Orange flavour pastilles Pass the Kids Test?
Sort of. They liked the orange flavour but weren’t keen on the texture. So I don’t see them as a long term answer to the battle of taking multivitamins. I’m sure lots of children who like chewy texture would love these, and probably never suspect their mum was trying to do them good.
Bassetts Vitamins supports and celebrates those fun moments families share in their daily lives… never a dull moment? Let’s keep it that way!
