Firstly can you offer more? A wider range of products, more variation, the option of customization. These are simple solutions that will attract a wider audience. It goes without saying that a store with 50 different products to sell will be seen by a wider audience than a store with 5.

Offer shipping internationally if you don’t already. Or, if like me you only currently offer digital products. Think about offering physical products as well. Just remember to factor in the extra shipping costs and the extras you would need, like packaging boxes in your pricing plan.

Social media is a great way to grow your Etsy business. Show off behind the scenes photos, videos of making in progress and encourage your buyers to share their purchases (tagging you in of course)

How to ensure you are successful

Ask your target audience what they would like to see. Create a poll on your most popular social network and from their feedback create new products.

Good product photography is key. Get clear shots of your products, some lifestyle and some with white backgrounds. They don’t have to be amazing but the buyers need to clearly see what they are purchasing.

Work on your SEO (search engine optimization), think about the key words you would use when searching for your product. Work on improving your product description and tags.
