What is the 365 days of creativity challenge?

Over 2026 join me for a new 365 days of creativity challenge, to get you off screens and making more!

Over the festive period, when everyone slows down just a little. I had time to think about what gave me joy. I felt I was spending too much time on my phone and not enough time being creative. Which felt wrong to me as someone who runs a creative site. So the 365 days of creativity challenge was born!

Every day throughout 2026 I will post a new prompt on social media, to inspire you (and me) to think differently about your work and creative processes.

You don’t have to spend long on it, or commit to doing every day. You can dip in and out if you wish. But try to set aside some time, even if it is as small as 10 minutes. To go more analogue, and think about your creative process.

How might this look?

For example the prompt for day 2 is circle.

You might:

  • look back through your work at all the circles you have created and share a photo to inspire others
  • Look for circles throughout your day, and photograph them to draw from later
  • Paint, stitch, crochet, knit in circles.
  • Plan a circular project for a later date
  • Use materials or tools, such as an embroidery hoop or circular knitting needles to create your work.
