How to make a Flower press + free svg
I’ve always wanted to press flowers, but when looking at the presses, I’ve often thought they seem a lot of money and also I’m sure I could make it myself. Now with the help of my Mr Beam laser cutter, I’ve made a flower press kit free svg so we can all make one!

The flower press consists of three elements you’ll need to cut out.
- Two square plywood boards
- Two cardboard hexagons
- Two paper hexagaons
You will also need four nuts and bolts to fit the corner holes.

To assemble the press, first push the bolts through from the outside of the bottom plywood board. Then place a cardboard hexagon and then a paper hexagon on the board.
Cut the flowers or leaves you wish to press.
Top tip! Do this early in the morning or late in the evening. For better quality specimens.
Then lay them on the paper layer.

Cover with another layer of paper and top with the final cardboard hexagon.
Finally put the top plywood board on and tighten with the nuts.
Leave for two to three weeks for complete drying.
