I don’t know about you but I always like to start in the centre of my design then work my way out. I tend to spread my stitch around as I often get bored stitching in one area for too long and have a desire to see what the final look might be quicker!

I love sharing my progress shot of my stitching and I know other stitchers like to see all the hard work that goes into some of designs. If you also want to follow along with my personal sewing, stop by my Instagram.

I was really pleased with the finished Blackwork design. It was intricate and beautiful but not too flowery or ornate. Perfect for a male greeting card.

I kept the mount simple and just trimmed the aida neatly and mounted on white card.
