Traditional woven paper decorations
Materials
- Paper in two constrating colours
Tools
- cutting machine
- or printer and scissors
Instructions
To make the swedish hearts either cut out the svg on your cutting machine and fold in half or use the template to draw around and cut out on a folded sheet of paper.
You will need two in contrasting colours.
Then you need to weave the two folded shapes together.
Rather than over and under you need to weave through alternately. so that you can use the hearts as baskets.
Once you have woven them together you can either use as a hanging decoration or add a handle and use as a small basket for a gift or sweets.
