5 reasons to choose a one piece swimsuit

I’ve booked my holiday and although it’s still a fair few months away I’ve already started thinking about what I’ll pack. Swimwear is a main component of my packing as I like to spend as much time as possible either in the water or sat very near the water on my holidays. Don’t get me wrong I love bikinis too, but for me a one piece is where it’s at. These are my five reasons why you should also choose a one piece swimsuit.

Firstly, there is more fabric in a one piece swimsuit. Therefore you have more space to show off an amazing design. This year the shops and online are packed with swimsuits featuring killer fabric designs. Like this one from Speedo. Why on earth would you want to cut it in half?

I’ve actually bought a red cossie this year so that I can pretend I am in Baywatch. You can do it too, don a scarlet one piece and run slow motion down the beach. The kids will be super embarrassed but I know I’ll be having a whale of a time.

If you don’t like your middle bits, and I know a lot of us don’t. You can hide your tummy in a one piece swimsuit and pull attention to other bits such as your great boobs or fab bottom.

You can still look sexy. A lot of people think of swimsuits as a bit mummy or frumpy. But that is just not the case. Think old screen goddess glamour. Marilyn Monroe and Elizabeth Taylor rocked the one piece and you should too. Just don’t forget to add big sunglasses and a great hat.

You can do water sports. In a one piece you’re unstoppable. No wardrobe malfunctions when you dive in the water, head out on a jet ski or have to wrestle a toddler in the pool. Keep everything where is should be and enjoy time in the water. Just remember your swimming googles.
