- Grid Size: 62W x 27H
- Design Area: 4.36″ x 1.86″ (61 x 26 stitches)
Materials Needed:
- 15 count Aida fabric
- Embroidery hoop
- DMC Embroidery floss in various colours
- Cross stitch needle – size 24
- Embroidery Scissors
- Cross stitch pattern chart (available below)
Hello January Cross Stitch Pattern:
Use the chart below to create your “Hello January” cross stitch design. Each symbol represents a different colour of embroidery floss. Start from the centre of the pattern and work your way outwards.
Stitching Instructions:
- Secure the Aida fabric in the embroidery hoop, making sure it is taut.
- Thread the cross stitch needle with one strand of floss doubled, so you can secure the thread with the loop method.
- Refer to the pattern chart and start stitching from the centre, following the symbols to create the “Hello January” design.
- Use one cross stitch for each symbol on the chart, and make sure the stitches are uniform for a neat finish.
- Change thread colours as indicated on the chart.
- Finish with backstitch in a single strand.
- Once the stitching is complete, carefully remove the fabric from the hoop and trim any excess threads.
