What’s included in the kit

Inside the Rolife Wooden Flower Bouquet Kit, you’ll find everything you need to create your wooden floral arrangement:

  • Pre-cut wooden sheets with all the flower pieces ready to pop out
  • Clear illustrated instructions
  • Optional plastic greenery to add to your bouquet
  • Paper bouquet wrap for finishing the arrangement
  • Extra wooden pot pieces so you can build each flower individually instead of as one bouquet

The flowers included in the kit are: sunflower, lilac, pink rose, red camellia and eucalyptus.

Everything is included. No need for additional glue or paint. You will need some patience and a bit of finger strength for slotting the wooden pieces together.

First impressions of the Rolife flower bouquet kit

The kit can be assembled as a full wooden flower bouquet, which is how I chose to build mine, or you can use the included parts to display each flower separately in its own pot. Finished as a bouquet, it would make a lovely handmade gift, and as a kit, it’s ideal for giving to a crafty friend.

Which flower to start with?

I began with the lilac flower, which turned out to be the trickiest of all the blooms to assemble. The small pieces made it a little fiddly and it took the most time. If you’re a beginner or new to wooden model kits, I recommend starting with the sunflower or the eucalyptus, as their construction is much simpler and a great way to ease into the set.

The building process

Putting the bouquet together took me a few hours. I did need to take breaks, as slotting the wooden pieces together can be a bit hard on the fingers. Despite that, the instructions were very clear and easy to follow, making this kit suitable even for a complete beginner.

My favourite flower to make was the pink rose, I liked how the wooden pieces were slotted to allow the to curve into the petal shape. The only part I wasn’t so keen on was the plastic greenery and paper wrapping included with the bouquet. For my final display, I’ll be removing those extras to let the wooden flowers shine.

Value for money?

Overall, I think the Rolife Wooden Flower Bouquet Kit offers great value for money. It is easy to assemble with clear instructions, suitable for beginners as well as experienced crafters, customisable as a full bouquet or as individual potted flowers, and makes a unique handmade decoration or thoughtful DIY gift.
