DIY Felt Sunflower Wreath Tutorial
This is a fun and easy summer project for your front door. I’ll show you how to make a DIY Felt Sunflower Wreath. This rustic, no-sew wreath is perfect for your outdoor space or front door, adding a touch of summer sunshine to your home.

Materials Needed
- Felt sheets in yellows and brown
- Hot glue gun
- Willow wreath base
- Raffia for a bow
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1: Prepare Your Materials
Start by gathering all your materials. For this project, you’ll need felt sheets in sunflower colors, a hot glue gun, a willow wreath base, and raffia for a bow.
Step 2: Cut Out Your Felt Shapes
Next, you’ll need to cut out your felt shapes. I’ve created a free SVG cut file and printable template to make this step easier.
Step 3: Roll Your Felt Shapes
Once you’ve cut out your felt shapes, it’s time to roll them. Roll the brown felt tightly gluing in place at the end to secure. Then take the yellow petal shapes and roll slightly looser around the brown sunflower centre. Glue to hold in place.
Step 4: Attach Your Felt Flowers to the Wreath Base
Now, it’s time to attach your felt flowers to the willow wreath base. Using your hot glue gun, apply a generous amount of glue to the bottom of your felt flower and press it onto the wreath base. I chose to use four flowers at the bottom of my wreath, but you could cover the wreath with flowers.

Step 5: Add Your Raffia Bow
The final step is to add your raffia bow. Simply tie your raffia into a bow and attach it to your wreath with your hot glue gun.
