Materials
- Tin cans / jars
- Jute
- Acrylic paint
Tools
- Glue gun
- Paint brush
Instructions
- Ensure you can or jar is clean and free of any sharp edges.
- Wrap the jute around your container, using the glue gun to hold it in place.
- Paint your design on with the acrylic paint, you could paint just the base or do a design.
- Leave to dry
- Then fill with your favourite plants.

- Plastic liner
- Chipboard
- Tyres
- Spray paint
- Screws
Tools
- Hand held elctric drill
Instructions
- Spray your tyres with your chosen colour
- Screw into the base of your tyre a chipboard circle to fit
- Line your tyre with plastic
- Fill with compost
- Plant your favourite plants in.

Nail varnish marbled pots

Materials
- White or pale coloured Plant pots
- Nail varnish
Tools
- Large container for water
- Cocktail sticks
Instructions
- Fill your container with a few inches of water, deep enough that you can move the pot in the water
- Drop nail varnish onto the surface of the water
- Use a cocktail stick to swirl the colours together
- Dip the plant pot into the water and move to cover the surface.
- You may re-dip if needed
- Leave to dry
- Then plant up with your favourite flowers and admire!

Materials
- Jars
- Spray paint
- Permant marker
- Twine
Tools
- Scissors
Instructions
- Spray your jars your chosen colour. You may need to do two coats.
- Leave to dry
- Add letters in permanent marker
- Finish each each with a wrap of twine at the top and a bow if desired.
- Plant up or use for cut flowers.

- Wood off cuts
- White paint
Tools
- Saw
- Hammer
- Nails
- Paintbrush
Instructions
- Cut the cuts of some of the wood offcuts into arrow shapes
- Paint the signs with landmarks or areas in your garden
- Nail the signs to the main post
- Fix into a large pot or your boarder as a fun focal feature.

- Casserole dishes with handles
- Spray paint
- Garden twine
Tools
- Scissors
Instructions
- Spray your casserole dishes your chosen colour. You may need to do more than one coat
- Add hanging cords from the handles. It is best if you double the cord to make it stronger.
- Plant up with your favourite blooms
- Find a strong branch to hand the planters from.

- Chalk board paint
- Clay pots
- Chalks
- Masking tape
Tools
- Paint brush
- Scissors
Instructions
- Ensure your pot is clean and dry before painting.
- Mark off the top of the pot.
- Paint the bottom half of your pot with the chalkboard paint. You may need more than one coat depending on how porous your pot is.
- Leave to dry
- Once dry, use chalks to write the name of your plants. It's great for herbs!
- Plant up with your favourites
