Getting Started
- DMC embroidery floss in the colours indicated on the chart,
- a piece of 14 count Aida cloth,
- an embroidery hoop, size 24 needle
Stitching the Pattern
The moose pattern is a counted cross stitch design, which means you'll be counting stitches based on the chart. Start at the centre of your fabric and work your way outwards for the best results. The chart uses symbols to represent different colours, so keep it handy as you work.
As you stitch, you might find it helpful to mark off sections on your chart that you've completed. This can help you keep track of your progress and ensure that you don't miss any stitches.
Finishing
Once you've finished stitching the pattern, give your work a gentle wash to remove any oils from your hands. Iron it on the back, on a low setting to smooth out any wrinkles.
