January is speeding away and perhaps your thoughts are turning to Valentine’s Day? Why not send your hearts desire something a little more personal this year than the over priced commercial tat filling the shop windows.

Armed with some custom printed paper from Pretty Gifted, some card, tape and scissors these cards are easily achievable in less than 30 minutes.

Easy Valentine card ‘stitched with love’

To make this card. Simply cut three hearts out and hold in place on the card with a dab of glue. Then using a sewing machine stitch a line down the centre of the card.

Easy Valentine card folded heart

These little origami hearts look complicated but they really aren’t. They would also look great as table confetti or made bigger could be great places to tuck love notes. Scroll down to see how to make them.

 Easy Valentine card layered Love

Why have only one heart when you can have three. Simply cut out three hearts each one slightly smaller than the other. Layer them with the biggest one glued in place on the card. The next two fold in half and glue along the ridge.

Such great ideas it might be hard to choose which one to make. Why not send all three!
