FREE pumpkin carving templates
Download your free set of six pumpkin carving templates, to take the hassle out of this fun seasonal craft.

Every year I imagine some amazing pumpkin filled porch I will create after scrolling through Pinterest. Yet in reality we normally have one pumpkin.
That I have to bring inside for fear it will be nicked by kids in the neighbourhood. (This did actually happen once).
So my porch may not be in the mid-west and will probably not be covered with multitude of pumpkins. But I can guarantee that the few I have will be carved like a pro.
How can a guarantee that? With the use of my free pumpkin carving templates. They take the hassle out of planning a design and keep the outlines simple yet creative enough that everyone will be impressed with your display.
Whether you choose to have that outside or not. Is up to you.

How to use
First download and print off the pack of six free templates. It includes three face designs, a bat, moon and stars design and a spider for the more skilled carver.
Then choose your design. This can be the hardest bit. Perhaps just get six pumpkins so you can carve all six designs!
Then either cut out the template to make a stencil which you can then draw around or use my preferred method. Which is to simply lay the sheet of paper on the pumpkin and using a biro draw around the design.
This transfers the design onto the surface of the pumpkin. Which you can then follow easily.

Next cut out the design carefully following the outlines you transferred.
Carving kit
You can pick up some great Pumpkin Carving Kits which come with Protective Gloves which will help you cut the design easily and avoid any nasty injuries before Halloween. (The only blood I want to see is fake)
Once the design is cut, fill with a candle or better still a LED Candle Tea Light and enjoy the magical atmosphere of a pumpkin at Halloween.
Don’t forget to Pin it for later!
