Portfolio book review
Just over a week ago I was asked if I’d like to review prestophoto.com portfolio book making service. I loved the idea of having a physical item to showcase my designs.

How it works
I started by using one of the portfolio templates. I downloaded the indesign version and once opened it was simple to drop in the designs I wanted and then play around with the layout I was happy with.
Then you simply need to save it as a pdf and upload it onto presto photo.
Then you have some choses on size, full wrap covers and the type of printing you want.
I opted for a square portfolio as most of my designs are in that format as I mainly create seamless patterns for fabric.
My thoughts
I love the quality of the book and the printing has done justice to the delicate watercolours and crisp line detail in my designs.
It’s the perfect size to pop in my bag and I love the idea that I can show a wider group of people with it than just with a screen.
Downside is it is pricey. At $39.99 for the size I ordered plus the added shipping to the UK.
However it did arrive quickly and I do love how beautiful my designs look printed. I think it would be nice to create one, once a year to show off the best designs from that year.
