Work with brands

I love working with brands and over the years it has become the most profitable source of income for my blog.

I work with brands in a variety of ways. Hosting guest posts that they have written. Creating content around a brand and writing sponsored posts. Carrying out reviews and organising giveaways are just some of the ways I have worked with various companies.

How do I find this brand work?

Now I have built up a network of connections, I often have brands and PR companies approach me directly.

But when my inbox is empty I also hunt out work. UK design bloggers can search for work in the Get Blogged Marketplace.

As a brand it’s a great service to use as it takes all the hassle out of searching for the right blogger. Simply decide what route you’d like to work with bloggers. Create a opportunity, specifying social requirements and DA. Set a budget and Get Blogged will do the searching for you. Matching you up with the ideal blogger or bloggers to meet your brand and niches needs.

Bloggers can simply search for brands that are offering opportunities suitable to their niche and apply. They should try and give them as much information as possible, this will make their application stand out.

I have completed numerous tasks from the Get blogged Marketplace and I have found the work engaging and quickly approved and paid.

Affiliate marketing

You can also work with bloggers by offering affiliate marketing insentives. There are various affiliate marketing sites brands can sign up to. Then bloggers use their ads and links when writing about products they use and enjoy is a no brainier way to promote. People click on the links and if a sale is generated, bloggers get a small payment.

I deal mainly with amazon associates and Awin. However there are loads more that may or may not suit your brand.

  • Commission junction
  • Webgains
  • Rakuten
  • Trade Doubler

Vlogging

Brands are looking more and more at video promotion. Getting a blogger or vlogger to go viral promoting your product can be sure fire gold for sales. Bloggers like this as many are already posting great videos to enhance their blog posts.

Creative passive income

Bloggers love passive income if you can offer them something which is quick and easy to upload and sell from their site. With no other input from them and they are sure to want to be part of that deal. This is where I have made most of my passive income from.

Personally I make lots of passive income from things like digital design files and workbooks.

Obviously you need to look at the logistics of this and copyrights etc. Using online checkouts and working out commission for the blogger on sales generated.

Epatterns

If you have a site like etsy or similar that sells epatterns. Which could be fore knitting, cutting files, sewing patterns, instructions etc. You could work with design bloggers in driving traffic to your store.

Photography

It’s worth noting as a brand looking to work with a blogger, what their personal style is and if their photography is good. Will it suit your branding and show off your products in their best light.

Educational passive income

Have things to your want people to learn from. Whether that’s your story or instructions or tutorials. If you have ebook or have developed a course that people can pay to subscribe to. Get bloggers to review it and share their thoughts with their readers.
