Review – Felt flower bouquet kit (+ giveaway!)
I love trying out new craft kits and felt is one of my favourite materials to work with. So when I was asked to take a look at Kikkerland’s Crafters felt flower bouquetkit and have the chance to give away one as well. I just couldn’t say no.

The felt flwoer kit has everything you need to make you own posy of 11 flowers and 12 leaves. From the felt sheets, to templates and needle and thread. A complete project in one beautifully crafted box.

Inside the kit is:
- 4 different colours of felt sheets
- 2 colours of thread
- Buttons for the flower centres
- Needle
- Wire flower stems
- Templates for the flower petal and leaf shapes
- An instruction manual with clear photos for each step
What makes is Perfect for Beginners
I have made felt flowers before and I am no stranger to sewing in general and I still enjoyed the process of making these posies. I think it’s perfect for beginners however as the photographs for making were so clear and the instructions were simple and didn’t overlook some steps.
Review of the Quality of materials and instructions included in the kit
As I’ve said the instructions for this kit were great and now I have the templates I can easily make other ones in different colours.
The only drawback for me was the thickness of the felt, which was a little thin. But that is purely a personal preference and if you haven’t done much hand sewing before, you may prefer to have thinner fabric to make it easier to stitch together.
Overall I was pleased with my final flowers, and will keep the instructions and templates to make more blooms.
This would make a great gift to post to a crafty friend or relative as it’s letterbox sized and priced at £8.00 it’s a bargain!
