Tiny Felt Cuties & Creatures (review)

Last week I was lucky enough to be asked to Review the book Tiny Felt Cuties & Creatures by Delilah Iris.

The chance to make your very own miniature world of adorable felt wool animals and figures.

What is Tiny Felt Cuties & Creatures and what makes it so special?

Tiny felt cuties is a felt craft craft which guides you through the world of hand sewing felt to create your own miniature hand made felt creatures.

From foxes and frogs to Teddy bears and dolls with their own mushroom doll house. The range of projects are adorable, you’ll want to make them all.

Overview of the book content and crafting instructions

The book is really well laid out and beautifully photographed through out. With helpful sections on tools and materials and the basics of hand sewing.

Even if you’ve never stitched a thing in your life or worked with felt. These sections will guide you through.

If you’re a more experienced crafter and hand sewer you could skip by these sections, but I always read them as often they offer you some helpful tips you’ve never heard of before.

Each project has it’s own section and they have clear step by step instructions along side helpful in porcess photos. Which I love as I’m much more of a visual person.

Projects featured in the book that are perfect for beginners

The projects vary in skill level but none are out of the grasp of a beginner. But my recommendation would be to tackle perhaps the mushroom or the frog before attempting the houses or dolls. As they have more parts to them.

I made the mini mushroom in under an hour and that probably included me rummaging for my supplies.

Review of the quality and variety of projects included in the book

The book is printed in on really good quality paper and has that lovely feel to it. It’s going to be a welcome addition to my craft book shelf and I loved the range of projects in this book.

You don’t need kids to buy this book or even kids to craft for. I know many an adult that will love to adorn their shelves with a cute felt cat, hide their treasures in a tree stump house or even make a new skunk friend!

Where can I buy the book?

I was sent Tiny felt cuties and creatures to review. The book can be found at Amazon and whsmith and and it RRP is £14.99
