FLEXISPOT ErgoX ART review

Until I hit my forties, I had never even considered what I sat on as important. Jump forward five years and with two collapsed discs, and spinal stenosis. What I sit on is REALLY important. The problem is with my full-time job as a crafts writer. I can spend a lot on time sat down. Whether that is at the PC or crafting. So, a good chair is vital.

Until now a good chair was the one thing I was lacking in my attic studio. I have a great daylight, five desks and more than enough machines. But I was still making do with a chair that my son had chucked out.

Luckily for me FLEXISPOT asked if I would like to review a chair and I picked the ErgoX ART available on Amazon.

It’s fully adjustable, with height and seat depth. A lumbar support and adjustable head rest. It also comes with a flip out footrest, for the times I want to kick back and relax with a good book.

5 things I love about this chair

  1. The arms can move up and down but also backwards and forward and angle in an out! Meaning if I want elbow support whilst stiching at just the right place, it’s there.
  2. The chair is made of a breathable mesh fabric so no sweaty back, when the next heat waves hits
  3. I can sit on it cross legged or with one leg up to sketch, with the added support of the footrest
  4. The lumbar support means even after hours sat down I don’t ache
  5. The gas lift height adjustment means even with my little legs I can get it at just the right level for me.

2 things I didn’t like so much

  1. The box was so heavy! And when you’ve got to get it up three flights of stairs, it was a workout.
  2. You have to build it. It took me around 45 minutes with no help. And I was very happy to relax in it once it was made.

Now my attic studio feels so much more comfortable. With the FLEXISPOT ErgoX ART I can happily work, craft and relax and my back will thank me.
