The heat of the summer has got me thinking of my travels. One place I visited when it was just the hubby and I was Morocco. I’d love to go back again. I love the colours and patterns everywhere. It’s such a delight for the senses. So this months FREE August desktop wallpaper is inspired by the beautiful colours and shapes you see all around you in Morocco.

The pattern is called sun stars and it’s the first vector pattern I created completely in Affinity designer without importing a sketch first. I love the geometry of the design and how it varies just with the movement of the colours. If you like this design, you can also purchase it on fabric from my spoonflower and woven monkey stores. Or on a variety of products from my redbubble, zazzle and society6 stores.
It’s well worth a look at these stores if you’re looking for something a little more unusual or unique than you find on the high street. I just bought myself a new phone cover from redbubble with one of my designs on and I love it!
This wallpaper download is available for free along with all the other designs for this year in the vault.
