Free kitty laser cut svg
One of my main passions is embroidery and I love that I can cross over my craft specialisms to make tools and accessories for other projects. I wanted a new needle minder to match a cross stitch project and so this set of 5 free kitty laser cut svg files was born!
But you don’t have to use these files to make needle minders, you could make badges, earrings or scale them up for cute coasters! You don’t even have to laser cut and engrave them. As them come in svg file format, you could use them to cut vinyl decals on your xTool or Loklik. Or make print and cut stickers on your Cricut!
How to make a needle minder
If you want to make the needle minders, you need to cut and engrave the designs with thin plywood. I did this on my Mr Beam [x] and then add a neodymium magnet to the back with a hot glue gun.
You then secure it to your embroidery project with another magnet at the back of your fabric and then it will be a handy spot to keep your needle.
