What is a toucanBox?

toucanBox is a flexible subscription craft box for young children. It’s a fun, educational craft related set of activities and a magazine. Encouraging fine motor skills and play.

What age is it suitable for?

toucanBox is aimed at children aged 3-8

What’s included?

Inside each box are full kits to produce crafts related to a certain theme. A surprize gift and a magazine that offers extra ideas and activities on the theme. Plus two sheets of stickers, which every child I have ever know loves!

In our box which was Easter themed – the two kits we had were Spring Pin bowling and a flower press and banners

Value for money?

Boxes are priced at £8.95 plus £2.95 delivery if ordered individually.

If you opt for 3 months subscription the price comes down to £7.95.

For 6 months it’s £6.95 and for 12 it is reduced to £5.95 per month.

Each activity in the box took us an afternoon, plus we spent time reading the magazine and we still have yet to try out the other activities suggested in that. So there is plenty to keep us occupied.

Compared to purchasing a magazine with a throwaway toy on the front from the corner shop which engages my son for half an hour. I think the toucanBox has proved to be excellent value for money.

Final thoughts toucanBox review

It has seemed hard to drag my children away from the lure of screens recently, however getting the toucanBox in the post and exploring the magazine and enjoying the crafts together has been a delight. He was really pleased with his finish Spring Pin bowling game and we had to send a picture to his teacher.

A great way to spend some quality time together.
