Why you should start a daily sketchbook practice
As a child I loved to paint and draw, but slowly over time I lost my enthusiasm as I focused more on wanting it all to look ‘perfect’. Recently I wanted to regain my love of creativity and a opportunity to take some time for myself. The benefits were ten fold and I want to share why you should start a daily sketchbook practice too.

Taking a short amount of time every day to fill a sketch book, boosted not only my creativity but my mood too.
What is a Daily Sketchbook Practice?
Find a time that you can set aside 10 to 15 minutes a day. Pick one medium or multiple that you’d like to try. Grab a sketchbook for this task and date the pages as you go.
The work you do doesn’t have to be perfect or a lengthy process, just stick at it to see the change in you and your work.
Benefits of Daily Sketching
Not only will it help you work on your skills over time but it can lead to some personal insights as well.
It helped me with relaxation and an opportunity for mindfulness. It also reignited my creativity and led to new project ideas, like a snowball effect.
