Getting Started

  2. Download and Print the Pattern: Download the free Christmas bear cross stitch pattern PDF. Print it out and place it near your workspace for easy reference.
  3. Thread Your Needle: Separate a strand of embroidery floss and thread your needle. It’s best to use just one strand at a time, folded in half to use a loop start.
  4. Choose Your Starting Point: Identify the centre of your design and stitch from there to ensure you fit the design correctly on your fabric.

Finishing Touches

Once you’ve completed your Christmas bear cross stitch, it’s time to put on the finishing touches:

  1. Trim Excess Fabric: Carefully trim any excess fabric from the edges of your design.
  2. Frame It: Place your finished cross stitch in a frame to protect and showcase your beautiful creation. Alternatively use it as a greetings card or make it into a pincushion.
