Custom Painting by Numbers review (+giveaway!)
I haven’t done painting by numbers since I was a child. So I was happy to be asked by Custom Painting by Numbers to do a review. Plus I’ve got a great giveaway to win your own at the bottom of this post.
What is Custom Painting by Numbers?
Custom Painting by Numbers is a DIY art kit that allows you to paint your very own masterpiece. It’s an exciting, creative, and personal way to express yourself.
Custom Painting by Numbers is not just an ordinary painting kit. It includes everything that you need to paint your own masterpiece by following the numbers on the pre-printed canvases. The package includes all of the necessary paints and paintbrushes.
The kit is generated from a photo for a custom design. It includes a set of acyrilic paints, 3 paintbrushes, and a pre printed canvas of your photo.
You can choose the level of complexity you wat it to be and that will limit the numbers of paint. Plus you can select the size of canvas and if you want it framed or not.
I hadn’t considered the complexitiy of the painting when choosing my photo to upload. As you can see it’s very detailed and also made up of mainly browns and greens.
Painting by Numbers is not just for children, adults can also enjoy this hobby as well! Especially with a custom design such as this. It didn’t come with any specific instrcutions apart from the fact you match the numbers of paint pots to the numbers on the canvas.
So I started in one corner, working my way up the numbers.
I then changed my tatic, as I wanted to see some progress quicker, so I picked out the cat and started to fill the center of the design in.

How long does it take?
I’ve spent about five hours on it so far. I’t nearly finished and I could have probably painted it a bit quicker, if I didn’t need my glasses and I wasn’t stopping and starting.
Is it worth it?
I have really enjoyed spending 20-30 minutes an evening working on this project. It’s very relaxing, doesn’t take any specific artistic skill and I really love the ‘nearly’ finished painting of my cat.
A painting I really couldn’t have got unless I’d be prepared to pay an artist lots of money to create it.
My eldest has been so impressed with it, he’s asked for his own to paint.
