How to stitch the daisy bracelet

How to stitch the daisy bracelet

Prep Time: 5 minutes

If you've never stitched before, then read through these simple instructions to help you stitch the the daisy bracelet embroidery pattern

Materials

  • pre cut felt bracelet
  • DMC embroidery threads -
  • DMC-311
  • DMC-762
  • DMC-3822

Tools

  • Daisy bracelet Pattern
  • Embroidery needle
  • Embroidery scissors
  • Optional - a thimble

Instructions

  1. Start by cutting the bracelet from felt
  2. Start stitching from the top of the bracelet
  3. Cut a length of embroidery floss no longer than the length of your arm
  4. Separate it into one strand and keep the remaining five for later
  5. Double the thread and thread your needle
  6. Start stitching from the front of your fabric, leaving a loop to thread your needle through on the first stitch to secure. Tug so that it moves to the back.
  7. Work your stitches all the in same direction, the bottom of the cross should always be the same in every stitch.
  8. Work in either individual crosses or for longer areas of stitch work the bottom arm of the cross stitch in a row and then stitch back over the row to do the top arm of the cross.
  9. To finish, ensure the needle is on the back of the bracelet. Thread it through the underside of a few stitches and then snip off the loose end.
  10. Work all the dark blue sections first.
  11. Then add the white, finish with the yellow.
