Free perforated paper SVG for cross stitch

I love stitching on perforated paper. It doesn’t fray, you can cut it easily and it’s great for making cards and ornaments from. So I was sad to see Mill Hill the supplier of it, announce they would be switching to a PVC version. Unable to get my hands on it any more, I decided to make my own. With the help of my cutting machine and wanted to share the free SVG file I created, so you too can make your own perforated paper for cross stitch.

You can choose from two versions, which are scaled to fit A4 sheets of thin cardstock. A 5 count and a 9 count. If you wanted to could make them smaller, but be warned it will take a long time for your machine to cut them all.

I used my Xtool M1 to cut my sheets, they will also work on Cricut and Silhouette cutting machines. You could also try laser cutting them, but there is a risk of ignition when lasering paper. I have not tried to laser cut my perforated paper.
