Free Scandi Christmas cross stitch pattern

I’ve really had the designing bug this past week. Now is the time I usually start crafting for Christmas and I haven’t stitched for ages. So I’ve designed a new free pattern with a Nordic theme. Grab your free Scandi Christmas cross stitch chart here.

The pattern is designed to fit in a hoop and is created with only two colours. Christmas red and white. You could choose to switch these around or leave the white out altogether and just have the design as a negative.

I think it would look lovely hung with festive ribbon on a door in replacement for a wreath. Or perhaps group them with some more of my free patterns and create a feature up a stair well!

How to download and print the pattern

If you haven’t signed up for my exclusive content before, you’ll need to pop your email in but then you’ll have access to not only this great chart but ALL my other exclusive content site wide.

Once downloaded you can either print the pdf, use straight on screen or in the pattern keeper app as many of my pdfs are compatible.

Don’t forget to share your makes with me on twitter, Instagram , Facebook and TikTok just tag me with @craftcartwright so I spot them.

  1. Hi, how do I download one of your “freebies”, there doesn’t appear to be a download button showing?

Hi, at the bottom of the post is a black download button.

    2. Hi, on the free pattern the Christmas red, what is different stitch between solid red and red with dot?

      1. craftcartwright says:

Hi, Do you mean on the legend? There is no difference it’s just to show that the symbol with the dot is for red. To make is easier if it was just symbols but I offer the pattern in full colour. I hope that helps?
