3 rainbow Aquabead ideas

Welcome to a colorful journey of creativity and craftiness! If you’re a fan of vibrant hues and enjoy crafting, you’re in for a treat. In this blog post, I’m diving into the world of DIY rainbow Aquabead crafts with three fun project ideas.

A delightful and artistic way to brighten up your day and surroundings. Aquabeads, known for their easy-to-use and water-activated magic, can be transformed into stunning creations that showcase the entire spectrum of colours. From playful accessories to dazzling decorations, I’ve curated three fantastic DIY rainbow Aquabead craft ideas to ignite your artistic flair.

Join me as we explore the joy of crafting with Aquabeads and unlock your imagination in a rainbow of possibilities!

These are our 3 rainbow Aquabead ideas.

The boys love Aquabeads, ever since we got our hands on a Minion playset. Aqua beads are so quick and easy to use and only need water to fix them together!

Once you’ve got the idea of following a design template and how to spray and dry the aquabeads to fix them. The world is your oyster.

It’s so easy to create your own designs. Once you have created your designs, there are all manner of things you could do with them.

1. Bookmark

We created our book mark design, based on a cloud with a rainbow streaming out of it. Using the round white beads we made a cloud shape, roughly 8 beads wide by 5 beads high.

Then used the star beads in the rainbow colours to create lines coming down from the cloud. We used the entire length of the board to mark sure the bookmark was long.

2. Fridge magnet

Make your heart design using rainbow colours. Because the aquabeads are so lightweight.

You can use magnetic double sided tape across the back to fix it. Such a quick and simple way to add some fun to your fridge.

3. Picture frame

We made our frame, 12 x 14 but you could use the entire board to create yours. In blocks of two rows for each colour we created the frame in rainbow order from top to bottom.

Adding a few of the white round aquabeads for cloud details on the side.

Then to add your picture simply cut a picture to the size of your frame and attach with double sided tape.

The kids loved creating a mini art gallery with some of the drawings they have made over the last few months.

Don’t forget to Pin it for later!
