Button bobby pins
I made these using a beautiful set of handmade Snowstorm buttons from GrannysTweedJacket £4.00. They are handmade polymer clay buttons in black and white, with just a touch of glitter mixed in to them. I think they set off my silver streaks in my hair beautifully. I love this mini project as it’s so quick to do and you can customise it to match any outfit. Plus it makes finding you bobby pins much easier. I only use buttons on clothes; I make kids clothes to donate to charity, to go to Romania.
My mum uses lots of buttons on her homemade christmas cards.

I made a pair of cushions decorated with hearts made out of mother of pearl buttons. The buttons weren’t all exactly the same size but the mother of pearl gave them a common theme.
