The Ultimate Children’s Christmas Gift Guide 2023: Making Little Dreams Come True

Christmas can be a truly magical time for children and it doesn’t have to cost the earth to make little dreams come true. I’ve rounded up a great selection of ideas for all budgets in my 2023 Children’s Christmas gift guide.

Educational and STEM toys

As an educator for over 17 years I love to gift toys that help promote learning and creativty.

These magnetic Tiles from CONNETIX do just that, not only do them help children explore maths and engineering. They also encourage creative play and are so beautiful to look at when built. You’ll have to keep the adults away as they are tempting to play with no matter the age! 120 piece pastel creative pack £115.00

Board games and puzzles

We are big fans of board games and puzzles in the Cartwright household. Having games night every Friday night and spending alot of our time over Christmas playing games and puzzles with friends and family.

Top It is a fast playing family game, perfect for those aged 10 and above. Can be played with 2 or more players and is a great way to liven everyone up after the big feast of Christmas. £25.95

My youngest will love this Karate Cats & Kung Fu dogs card game this year. For ages 8+ and for 3 or more players. Its a perfect one to slip in your bag to play out and about. £11.99

Another great card game for taking out and about when visiting friends and family over the holidays. Is Yes, Yes Yeti, quick to learn and great fun to play. £9.99

For older children, why not get them the tik tok craze, Mind Meld. A fun family friendly game where you try to meld minds with your partner. £12.99

Reading Delights

Part of the Crazy Cream adventures series, Poppy the golden retriver is back for another adventure. To help save a family of rabbits and her human brother. The perfect book to share with 8 year olds or for older children to read on their own. A great story with lovely characters and a slightly spooky setting. £10.99

Sweet treats

My children both love to find something sweet in their stockings at Christmas no matter how old they get!

This Hot chocolate from M & S food comes in a sweet light up house that I know many little ones would love to store their treasures in. And a cup of traditional hot chocolate is a great way to start Christmas morning. £4.00

A lot of Christmas treats can be out of reach for those with allergies. I know how miserable it can be to find you can’t have the treat. But with PLAYin CHOC there is no missing out. The organic chocolate is delicious and is dairy, nut and gluten free! The packaging is plastic free and you get a fun plastic free surprise toy. A great treat so they don’t feel left out. This box comes with six ToyChoc boxes inside so it’s perfect for lots of little ones or a fun alternative to Christmas crackers. £13.50

Another fab and delicious company that mean you kids can have a treat and not miss out is NOMO. My children will love getting a cute reindeer in their stocking. If I can resist eating it myself when wrapping! Dairy, gluten, egg and nut free. £4.50
