Clear a clean, flat surface to work on, ensuring your cutting machine has enough space to operate smoothly. - Upload SVG to Design Software:
Open your preferred design software compatible with your cutting machine. Upload the Free Chinese Dragon SVG file and adjust the size if needed. - Load HTV into the Cutting Machine:
Cut a piece of HTV in the desired colour slightly larger than your design. Load it into your cutting machine, following the machine’s instructions. - Weeding:
Once the cutting is complete, carefully weed out the excess vinyl using your weeding tools. Take your time to ensure the dragon design is clean and well-defined. - Prepare Pennant Material:
Cut your pennant material to the desired size and shape. Ensure it is clean and wrinkle-free. - Position and Iron On:
Place the weeded Chinese dragon design onto the pennant material. Cover it with a parchment paper or Teflon sheet. Use an iron or heat press to adhere the HTV to the pennant. Follow the recommended settings for your specific vinyl and machine. - Peel and Reveal:
Allow the HTV to cool for a moment before gently peeling off the carrier sheet. Your pennant should now boast a magnificent Chinese dragon design. - Prepare for display: Cut slots at the top of the pennant to insert a dowel or stick. Then attached string or twine at each end to hang it.
- Final touches: Add a tassel at the point of the pennant in co-ordinating black and gold.
