Felt embroidered swan ornament (free pattern + tutorial)

To make the embroidered swan ornament you will need:
- Felt
- Hand sewing needle
- Embroidery thread
- scissors
- ribbon
- fibre fill stuffing
- template
- optional – seed beads
Instructions:
- First download and print the templates
- Trace the design onto your felt or use printable wash away embroidery paper
- Use backstitch for the lines on the design
- Use French knots or seed beads for the dots
- Cut two of the swan shapes from felt
- Once stitched, clip the two swan shapes together and use backstitch to sew along the edge in matching coloured thread to your felt
- Insert a loop of ribbon between the wing and neck as you stitch around
- Before closing, add a small amount of fibre fill stuffing to give added dimension.
